LS Leader: Kirsten Alexa
We are an endgame linkshell whose main focus is success in the following areas (including not only those currently in game but upcoming in future patches):
Primal Battles (Ifrit, Moggle Mog)
Instanced Raids(Dzemael Darkhold, Toto Rak)
Strongholds (for gear drops)
NMs (gear drops, crafting materials)
Secondarily, we help our members gain experience points for their classes and for upcoming jobs. We also appreciate and support Disciple of the Hand and Disciple of the Land classes.
We are looking for people who play to have fun and enjoy playing with other people, and who also want to strive for success. We value fairness and equality.
We are not telling members that they can not have other linkshells, we are trying to create a place where people know they can come to do endgame.
We will be trying to work off a DKP system, however, FFXIV is a hard game to DKP, so once we work out a great system, we will use it decide drops.
The best kind of leaders are those who build others up to reach their best potential, and that is what we strive for. We value every member's opinion and operate in a democratic style. For important topics such as promotions and scheduling, members will be encouraged to vote so that the majority of the shell's concerns will impact the most important aspects of the linkshell.
Be Respectful.
It's easy to misinterpret what others say, especially over typed chat. Please be careful that what you're saying is not offensive, especially if other's don't know you well enough to know when you're joking.
Be nice.
Intimidating, harassing, or berating fellow linkshell members is not allowed. Please do not argue over linkshell or party chat, or voice chat. It's disruptive and causes stress and for the rest of the members. If you have a disagreement with someone, please let the leaders know so we can help resolve the issue. We have everyone in the shell's best interest in mind, so please let us know about the problem so we can help, before it gets worse.
Be helpful.
As a shell we want to develop people in their preferred classes and build them up accordingly (tank, DPS, Healer, DOTS, etc). When people excel in their preferred classes, we can form great parties. So helping each other out is in everyone's best interest. If there's something someone needs help with and you have time, please do your best to help out.
FireProof was created out of a desire for a lasting linkshell, a community of friends who are committed to success and who can count on each other to be there in the long run. To be FireProof doesn't mean that fire won't come, but that when it does, you'll be able to withstand it. All linkshells face the "fires" of trials and difficulties. We want to be a linkshell that not only withstands them, but comes out stronger in the end.
